About Us

punchSprout was founded in 2021 as a boutique consultancy, the modern equivalent of a general store. The proprietors, Karrie and Joe Messina, have stocked the shelves with over 50 years of thoughtful roll-up-the-sleeves lessons from BigCos, small and medium-size business and early-stage startups.

punchSPROUT is based in Rabbit Hash, Kentucky, a quaint little village on the banks of the Ohio River. Rabbit Hash General Store, the heart of this rural community, has been in continual operation since 1831. It has weathered devastating floods and a disastrous fire. It epitomizes the pioneering spirit and grit of the entrepreneur, constantly experimenting and improving and delighting those that live around it and those that visit.
